eine sehr persšnliche Sammlung von Gesprächen, Notizen und
Reiseberichten, in denen die Musik dem Leser »Fenster zu einer anderen
Welt« öffnet (Jon Hassell).

Karl Lippegaus
studierte Germanistik, Musikwissenschaften und Philosophie in Bonn und
Köln. 17-jährig gab er sein Radiodebüt mit einer Jazzsendung über Miles
Davis für SWF 2. Für den WDR, SWF, Deutschlandfunk und andere ARD-Sender
produzierte er zahlreiche Interview-Porträts von Musikern aus Jazz,
Rock, Folk und Grenzgebieten.
Der in Köln und Frankreich lebende Musikjournalist
ist Mitarbeiter der Süddeutschen Zeitung, Übersetzer und Autor
verschiedener Bücher. 1995 erhielt er den Deutsch-Französischen
Journalistenpreis für sein WDR-Feature über Immigranten in den Banlieus
von Marseille und Paris.
